GeoASN not resolving IP v6 addresses

I recently started getting requests in my web server logs with source ip v6 addresses. It appears that GeoASN doesn't know how to translate them so it labels the Organization as 'unknown'. Is there some modification I need to do any of the app's scripts to get this working? Any ideas?

Hi, I ended up having to modify GeoASN to use pygeoip instead of MaxMind's python library.
See sites.google.com/site/splunkgeoasnipv6update/home for details. (sorry I couldn't link it here). Basically, the approach is to download and install pygeoip, download MaxMind's ipv6 city and ASN databases, and modify GeoASN to read the appropriate database depending on the type of ip passed in (IPv4 or IPv6).
