UF not connected with DS

Currently, one system out of three works . not sure why 2 are not getting connected and getting the below message. any help is appreciated

Able to ping between the troubled host and the DS?

Can you check netstat on both machines/tcpdump to see what's going on with the networking side of things?

If they are linux systems, try telnet IP_address_host_OR_DS 8089. Have you done a traceroute/tracert? Is there a firewall in between host and DS? If so, you might need to add firewall rules for communication on port 8089.
