I am running splunk Version 6.1.3
I have changed the required SVG in "$SPLUNK_HOME/lib/python2.7/site-packages/splunk/pdf/pdfrenderer.py"
I have restarted. But Im not able to get my new logo on pdf reports.

Any ideas?

I am not sure about previous versions, but in Splunk 6.4 you can adjust the logo in PDF's:

You can substitute a logo image in place of the default Splunk logo that appears in a PDF header or footer. You can specify a path for the image file and adjust the logo position to left, right, or center.

You can configure these options using the Mail Server settings manager. Select Settings > Server settings > Email settings to locate the Mail Server Settings page. Scroll to the bottom of this page to find PDF Report Settings.
There you can specify your custom logo.

it is only possible to suppress the Splunk logo--you cannot replace it with your own, per this posting: http://answers.splunk.com/answers/95491/replacing-splunk-logo-in-the-footer-of-scheduled-pdf-reports...

Adding comment to bump this a bit. This doesn't explain why we cannot replace the svg block with another and fool splunk into thinking it's the same logo. Anyone know if part of this script validates the svg block prior to rendering?

I tried replacing it with an svg rendered from my company logo and no luck, just white space. This really needs to be an option. Splunk's PDF support has been crap from the beginning.
