Reporting

Can someone provide a report to get application usage statistics?

I am looking for an example report that shows application usage statistics and Top 10 applications. Can anyone help? I don't see this baked in.

Shameless plug: uberAgent collects application usage. It does not rely on the published application but monitors anything that runs on your machines. More info here.

You can use this:

index=xenapp sourcetype=xenapp:*:session | top limit=10 BrowserName
(BrowserName is the published application name)

However, this will only give you the application used to start the session. If Session Sharing is enabled in XenApp, then subsequent applications will not be recorded in the session.

Example - a user launches Word to start the session. Then, the user clicks on Excel and Excel launches in the same session. Excel would not be registered.
