Hi, I was not able to do this, is it possible to send an email to splunk support? I'm not able or willing to give a call just to delete my account.

Hi,
For delete a Splunk Account you need appropriate permissions and capabilities.
If you have this capabilities, go to Settings > Access Control.
If your account is based on Splunk authentication go to Users and click Delete on your account.
If your account is based on LDAP (Active Directory) authentication go to Authentication method > Configure Splunk to use LDAP, select your LDAP configuration and change filters to exclude your account.
