Hi,

I have created a dashboard with Splunk 6 using simple xml (dashboard works fine). We used to get the navigation menu (defined in default.xml file) for every dashboard, but I am not able to the same in Splunk 6 dashboard. Using IE 8.

Is there any specific things to be added to dashboard or anything else need to be configured to get the same?

Appreciate your help.

Thanks for the reply. I figured that out already.

Does this mean that you have now created two dashboards, one in your app and another in the search app?
If so, convert both to advanced XML, then compare the two resultant outputs to see what is missing.

I have just created dashboard by saving the search that I ran. so its just a basic dashboard. I have tried the same in Chrome and Firefox with same result. The navigation menu is visible from search app but not in my app.
