Navigation menu item disappears for custom app

Hello All,

We have created a customized app in splunk 6.4.2, menu items are PDashboards & PReports.

There are many dashboards under PDashboards as a drop down menu and same with PReports.

When we click on any drop down dashboard from PDashboards, PReports section is disappearing.

Kindly help me out to fix this issue.

Regards,
BK

Hi bharathkumarnec,
you should check if permissions on Menu [Settings -- User Interface -- Navigation menus -- Permissions] and on Dashboards are correct: when a user cannot access to a dashboard, it's not displayed on Menu.
Bye.

Hi,

All dashboards and reports are shared to every one with both read and write permissions, same as the case with menu as well.

Hi,

Below are the details from my app:

If I click on view name "dashboard_sample" under "PDashboard" menu item, "PReports" menu item is getting disappeared.

If I add view "reports" under PReports collection, then only I am able to see "PReports" menu item.

Kindly help me out on this.

BK
