How to hide options in a drop-down menu based on input from a different drop-down menu?

Say I have apple, orange, and pear in a drop-down menu and in the other drop-down menu I have apple color, orange color, pear color, apple size, orange size, and pear size. if I select apple, I only want to see apple color and apple size In the second drop-down menu. How do I do this?

you will need to use the token from the first drop down in the second one.

for instance, in my search string for my second token, i have ...|search FIELD=$token1$|table FieldOfInterest
where token1 is what my first input is and FieldOfInterest is the field for what i need my second token to look in.
