enabling performance via JMX

Hi,

I am having problems setting up performance via jmx for the splunk app for websphere. can someone help me on this.

this is the below message i get in the standard output, when i execute the python script (/opt/splunkforwarder/etc/apps/splunk_forwarder_addon_was/bin/was_log_inputs.py)

enable_performance_viajmx is turned off or missing.
Inputs.conf would not contain was_jmxperf script input.

How to fix this, i am running Webpshere 7, most of the other things are wokring, like errors, exceptions, start stop dashboards, but i dont see anything in the performance views.

well i was able to fix this issue myself. Had to install the splunk forwarder appliance add-on to get this working.

The documentation is pretty complicated i must say, but got this working, if you need help with it, let me know.
