Nagios v3?

Is this plugin dependent on Nagios v3? I ask because I am not finding anything called "host-perfdata" or "service-perfdata" anywhere in my Nagios directories. Are these things that are available to monitor in Nagios v3? Have they become something else maybe? Am I making some newbie mistake?

Thanks,
Scott

Hi Scott 🙂

host-perfdata and service perfdata are additional log files for host and service nagios performance data.

Please refer to the instructions entitled "Nagios Configuration (REQUIRED)" on the 'Splunk for Nagios' page on splunkbase to enable these log files in your nagios configuration:

All the best, Luke 🙂
