How to reset CheckboxPulldown module when user clicks on search button?

I have recently started working with the CheckboxPulldown module in SideView Utils. The dashboard I am using has the user input data into a TextBox, which is then entered into a SQL query when a button from the Button module is clicked. This query will generate results in the CheckboxPulldown, from which there the user can filter out the unwanted results from a search, by unchecking the unwanted results.

My question is, when the user attempts to run the search a second time with new data, the CheckboxPulldown module does not have any of the boxes checked, so it appears that the query didn't work.

Is there a way to "reset" the search each time the user clicks on the search button? I tried the "clear" field in the module, but I have not had any luck.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Mike

I think this is caused by a known bug in CheckboxPulldown - a very annoying one that I need to fix. Several customers have been running into it, and Sideview's apps suffer from it a bit as well. What happens is that before the module sees any options, when it first gets a batch to render, it will select them all. If even half a second later it gets slightly more options, it will not select these additional ones. If this sounds like your root cause please confirm. I'll be working on fixing this today and getting it out in the next release - early next week or possibly tomorrow.
