Splunk on Splunk (S.o.S) and Sideview Utils 2.x

Can Sideview Utils 2.x be used with Splunk on Splunk or is version 1.x of Sideview still required?

Sideview Utils 2.x is backwards compatible with version 1.x, and as such should work just as fine to support the S.o.S app.
