I appreciate the response @inventsekar , thank you. I have a main index that I don't need anymore and I'd like to remove. If the index can't be deleted, can all of the data be removed from the index?

This page states: You can't delete default indexes and third-party indexes from the Indexes page. Can I still delete default indexes through the CLI?

I installed Splunk Light via the AMI on AWS. I am trying to setup the universal forwarder by following the help doc here: http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/SplunkLight/6.5.0/Cloud/GettingdataintoSplunkLightcloudserviceusingLinux. Step 3.1 says to download the universal forwarder credentials under the side menu "System > Universal Forwarder" I cannot find this item in the menu (Please see attached screenshot). Is there a different way to download these credentials? Thank you!
