I have installed the Custom Visualization - donut app version 1.0.3 on Splunk Enterprise version 8.2.9. It seems to work well out of the box, however i have a couple of problems. 1. The legend text disappears in dark mode. I have attempted to resolve using CSS, but so far I have been unsuccessful. 2. I have tried to "center" the donut viz in the panel, but have not been able to do so... it by default is always on the left. 3. I have been unable to find a list of the viz options for this can you supply please. Thanks

Here is the search (redacted a little).. | inputlookup xxxxxxxxx_xxxxxx.csv | search Area_designation="$status$" | rename "Site Designation" as Site_designation | stats count by Country | geom geo_countries allFeatures=True featureIdField=Country The $status$ token has a possible five values, I want to assign a color to each of the values. I have seen a response from 2015 that indicates it is possible, but have not been able to make it work..

I just loaded the app Splunk Status Indicator on Splunk Enterprise 7.2.6, and just finished reading the online documentation. I have tried changing the icon I want to use using the option name "fixIcon" from example "database" to "arrow-circle-o-up" and it works fine.. The documentation states that to change the fixIcon value, just replace the name of the icon in the "Awesome Font Library", I tried replacing "database" with "fingerprint" and it does not work. I checked the "Awesome Font Library" web site and a version of the icon is free (not included with the Pro package). I have two questions I hope you can help me with. How can I see a list of all the icons available with the Splunk Status Indicator app. If the icon i want is missing how can I add this to the icon library in the app. Thanks in advance for all your help..

was trying another variation, and now the image seems to be loading, but I cant see it because of the panels .... does anyone have any ideas on how I make the panels transparent... Thanks

I did finish the sentence when i was posting, not sure what went wrong... anyway to finish the explanation...... but adding the background image stanza to the in the html dashboard did not work. I have tried a couple of other places but cant seem to get it to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks

I just converted my simple XML dashboard to HTML, I want to jazz it up a little bit. So I want to add a background image to the whole dashboard, not just a panel. I know how it should work, but adding the background image stanza to the in the HTML dashboard did not work. I have tried a couple of other places but can't seem to get it to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
