The hpi file is the Jenkins plugin. This needs to be installed via the Jenkins plugin manager like any other Jenkins plugin. The second part of this solution is the splunk app. This is installed like all other splunk apps. Once you configure the Jenkins splunk plugin, you should start to see data flowing into splunk.

Mike, The jenkins plugin is now available in the jenkins plugin center. Once you install and configure the jenkins plugin, all jenkins related data will be sent to splunk in real-time. To view all this data in, you can install the Jenkins App or you can also build your own custom dashboards. Let me know if that helps Ali

Step 4 (configuring job) is actually optional If you have multiple master, simply install the Jenkins plugin on each master. Configure the plugin in each of the master. You only need to configure the splunk server (step 1) and metadata (step 2) Let me know if this works for you. Ali
