Hi, I have some log files with no timestamp neither in the indexed data nor in the path or filename. I don't want to use the current time. Is there a way to use the date and time of the file as the timestamp? Thanks

Hello, I have several roles which limit data access based on search filters. When they use the same report, users with different roles obtain different results according to the data they can access. But when this report is configured in a dashboard, the users have access to all the data. There is no limitation anymore. It behaves as if the roles have no search filter. Is there a problem with the permissions? Thanks

Hello, After the upgrade to Splunk 6, the Settings menu has duplicate entries: Knowledge: Searches and reports Searches and reports Searches and reports Data models Event types Event types Event types Tags Tags Tags etc. Idem for System and Data I can't attach a screenshot, my karma is not high enough. 😞 Any ideas? Thanks
