Hi, I would like to index a whole folder which contain XML files for SSO system.The XML log file format end with .svclog. The XML file contain such info: However, when i try to remove the first line of the logs, , Splunk suddenly able to index the logs. Question: 1. Does Splunk has limitation to index the XML file if the XML file contain some header that might restrict the file to be index by Splunk? 2. How to resolve this instead of modifying the raw file? i think you can play around with icon image which located in /etc/apps/maps/appserver/static/img the default icon is m1.png, m2.png .... m5.png you can change the icon and rename it as m1.png based on color different. i think this can help even though it's the correct way to do it. 🙂

can anyone answer to this question as i also wondering can it be done? i do have a client requested to put trail on the maps as they are monitoring a gps moving vehicle with coordinate data in real time. additional to this question, can we put the data in googlemap ploting taken from any fields instead of _geo_count? for example, there is a speed data which in vs_SPD field, however i can only show the count of data instead of transferring the speed data into the map. Thank you

Hi, I'm quite new to this apps. The questions that i have is, if i have a data that already contain LAT and LON, can it be mapped into this google apps? The data doesn't contain an IP. Basically the data is to monitor vessel movement. I believe the LAN and LON is already preinstalled in the MAXMIND lookup, but what if i do have a data that already contain those info? Can it be use? Thanks
