Splunk Search

Why is searchWhenChanged="true" in simple XML not working in Splunk 6.1.3?

If you have input type text and searchWhenChanged="true" then i would think that once a user types and hits enter, then the panel should start populating. But user has to actually get out of that input box in order for it to work.

is anyone facing this issue? i am using 6.1.3 simpleXML. something like below:

Thx.

it will only populate if you pass tokens into the other drop downs.

Clearly!! But it only passes the token and causes the other panels to update if one clicks outside of the search text box. Pressing enter does not work. Question is, Is this a bug or is there a config/xml parameter that is causing this behaviour and that I can change in order to get the standard behaviour.

Thanks
