Why do the dashboards in Splunk 9.1.0 open in new tab? Is there a way to change this setting via conf file?

I noticed that the dashboards in Splunk 9.1.0 open in new tab instead of the same tab. This wasn't the case in the previous versions of Splunk. Anyone knows why this change is added and how to make the dashboards open in same tab using conf file changes? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks
