Getting charts to show side by Side

Hi All, I couldn't find the answer for this anywhere, so I thought I'd ask.

I have created a dashboard using splunk. We use it for Syslog. Now I have two charts made up of line graphs, they are currently displaying with 1st chart above the 2nd chart, and are both full length across the screen.

I would like to change the dashboard so the charts show side by side one on the left side of the page and one on the right side of the page.

I have tried editing the xml file to no avail. Is anyone able to tell me how I can setup the dashboard to have both charts side by side

the current layout of the dashboard is as follows

I have two gauges in the same row and they still show on two different lines.

Just skip the second row - remove the </row> ... <row> in the middle.
