Installed OData for Splunk and restarted but when viewing the app in Splunk this is all we see:
Welcome to the OData app for Splunk
This app provides Open Data Protocol endpoints for the Splunk server, enabling connections to other OData compatible technologies. Below is a list of the saved searches on this instance of Splunk. For each saved search a URL is provided which corresponds to an OData endpoint for that search. To consume Splunk searches as OData from these endpoints:
Select and copy URL text to your clipboard
Paste URL in an application that requests an OData endpoint
Provide your Splunk login credentials for OData request
Connect
I think this is a problem with Chrome. It's clocking all content after line #4. For now I'm using a different browser.
Thanks!
Faced the same issue. The only way, it worked was to setting the permission of the saved search as everyone with read/write enabled. Give it a try, it will work.

Which saved search? We have many that are configured that way (everyone with read/write enabled). Also, checked the permissions on the OData app itself and it's set to Everyone read/write, and "All apps".
Any other ideas?
Thanks.
We're on version 5.0.4, build 172409. Doubled checked the file permissions on the file system. Our SOS app is showing the following errors:
