Lookup File Editor - Can't view uploaded files

HeinzWaescher

Hi,

for some reason I'm not able to read uploaded csv files (in this case lookupA.csv) in the Lookup File Editor. The app never completes "Loading lookup file".

Using

| inputlookup lookupA.csv

in a search works fine.

For lookup files created during a search, the Lookup File Editor works. So I tried out

| inputlookup lookupA.csv | outputlookup lookupB.csv

After this it is possible to open lookupB.csv in the Editor...

Hi HeinzWaescher,

I had the same problem lately and was able to 'fix' that by changing the owner of the csv file to 'nobody'. After that the csv was editable with the lookup editor.

hope this helps ...

cheers, MuS

Hi Luke,

I've created a csv file and uploaded it via settings -> Lookups -> Lookup table files. So my account is the owner of the file by default, and this seems to be the problem

Could you help me solve the issue in the app by providing steps to reproduce the issue? I would like the fix the app itself if I can. I tried uploading a lookup file via the manager but it loaded fine.

Hey MuS,

is it possible to change the ownership in the UI?
