Hi Bawan,

Firstly, my apologies for the length of time it has taken for you to get a response to this query, if you have any future queries contact vmax.splunk.support@emc.com and someone will get in contact usually within 24-48 hours.

We don't currently support pulling data from the VMAX 20K model, only the VMAX-3 Hybrid series arrays or newer arrays.

However, there is an option for getting syslog data from Solutions Enabler via UDP. I have mentioned it in my VMAX for Splunk 2.0 blog article in the section 'Pulling Data from VMAX-2 Series Arrays (not using the VMAX TA)'.
