Hi everyone,
I'am trying to do vulnerability trending dashboard but ı have a problem.
Let me explain shortly,
![alt text][1]
I'm doing this query search, Total vulnerability number (5,680) is true but the increasing number is false because of ;

2018-07-02
2018-07-03
2018-07-04 5669
2018-07-05 5680
As you can see at 2018-07-03 there is no any count value. Actually, if not any count, previous count is valid. So, I want to fill this empty areas with last totalvalue. In this case, 2018-06-30, 2018-07-01, 2018-07-02, and 2018-07-03 should be 5653 for example.
Anyone help? :)
Thanks.

https://answers.splunk.com/answers/585484/how-to-sum-correctly.html
Hello All,
I am having an issue using the stats sum command. This is currently my search:
source="Jan_Sept_FinanceSample.csv" host="Jan_September" index="finance_sample" sourcetype="csv" ObjectAccount="411010" OR ObjectAccount="5*"
| eval Sales=if(ObjectAccount="411010",DomesticAmount,0), Costs=if(like(ObjectAccount,"5%"),DomesticAmount,0)
| stats sum(Sales) as Sales , sum(Costs) as Costs
I checked if the values were correctly summed on excel, and it turns out that the sums are off. What can it be? I tried to erase and upload the data again, I tried to reformat the values, etc. Is this the wrong command to use?
There are positive and negative values on the Domestic Amount field, I am not sure if it is taking all of the negative values.

https://answers.splunk.com/answers/102577/cumulative-sum-of-hours.html
Hi,
I have created a chart showing the cumulative sum of hours for each host for the month of August.
Here the fields are
Day Date In-Time Out-Time DurationHours(OutTime-InTime)
The query is :
sourcetype="abc" | convert mstime(Out_Time__) AS outtime | convert mstime(In_Time__) AS intime |eval durationHrs=(outtime - intime )/60 | streamstats sum(durationHrs) as cumulativeSum by host | timechart values(cumulativeSum) by host
Here it should show ,for aug1 cumulative sum is 8,for Aug2 ->19 .... aug31-->208.
Here in my case it is in a reverse order i.e., for aug1 its showing 208 and for aug31 it is 8.How this can be solved?
