Getting Data In

password doesnt work after installing forwarder

I am obviously doing something wrong, but this is twice now, i have installed the forwarder for Windows, and changes the splunkd and splunkweb services to use domain credentaisl.

Now my initially configured password doesnt work.

try the default admin password : "changeme"
and if you need to reset the password, use the method described here : http://answers.splunk.com/answers/834/how-could-i-reset-the-admin-password
