Splunk is not sending any alert email on linux

Hello,

I don't receive any email notification from splunk , while the logs of scheduler show that my saved search is triggered:

 tail –f web_access.log

Any idea how to fix this?

1. weather your splunk in local instance or server(cloud). Splunk mails are going from one server to another, so if it in server it could send mails.
2. check the mail server settings from mail side. some times, mail settings are stop the mails from splunk.
