Hi ,
I have created few dashboards but sharing is private , how can i make these dashboards shared with others or what role should i have to share these dashboards.
Note: In Action-Edit it is not giving option to edit permission. By default my dashboards Sharing is private.
Thanks,

You need the role "power" to be able to share dashboards with other roles/users.
If you only have the role "user" you can not share knowledge objects.
https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/8.0.2/Viz/DashboardPermissions
User role options
If you have the user role and its default capabilities, you can do the following.
- Create dashboards that are private to you.
Power user role options
If you have the power role and its default capabilities, you can do the following.
- Provide other users with read and write access to the dashboard.
Admin role options
If you have the admin role and its default capabilties, you can do the following.
- Create dashboards that are private, visible in a specific app context, or visible in all apps.
- Provide other users and roles with read and write access to the dashboard.
If you can create a dashboard then you should be able to share with other user roles. Go to Settings » User interface » Views » **** » Permissions .
Here you can make change to view to appear in This app only (app where dashboard is created). And change read permissions. However you can only share with roles from which your role is inherited.
If you want to share dashboard outside your parent roles, then your role should inherit those other roles OR your role should have all_admin_objects capability.
What does the ***** represent?
