I would like to receive an invite to the Slack #appdev Channel please. Also, I am working on learning Splunk. I do have a developer's license. However, I seem to be locked out of my instance. Please advise on how to reset my password if possible.

To reset your splunk password, it depends on what Version of splunk you have but presuming a fairly recent one, see here: https://www.hurricanelabs.com/splunk-tutorials/splunk-7-1-performing-a-splunk-password-reset
The #appdev channel is not private so you don't need an invitation to join. Just click on the "Channels" heading and select #appdev from the list.
I don't know how to reset your password.
