I am trying to separate in two rows my tag title without using an html tag with its linebraker.
TITLE TAG code >>> **<title>** STREAM BY AGE CATEGORY ( Stream: YYYYYYY Aging: YYYYYYY ) </title>
HTML TAG code >>> **<h2>** STREAM BY AGE CATEGORY </h2> **<br/>** <h2> ( Stream: YYYYYYY Aging: YYYYYYY ) </h2>
Can someone suggest me any solution?
Thanks in advance
Please explain more.
no way to separate the title in 2 rows to produce this outcome?
first row: STREAM BY AGE CATEGORY
second row: ( Stream: YYYYYYY Aging: YYYYYYY )
Without using an html tag instead of the title tag?

Hi @liviafarris,
you can add an html box, but you cannot modify splunk tag structure, an example about how to add an html box is the following:
<row>
<panel>
<html>
<h3>The present web page allows users to check the prerequisites imposed by .......
<a href="http://www.my_site.it">
<p>
<u>My description</u>
</p>
</a>
</h3> <hr/>
</html>
</panel>
</row>
Yiu can find additionl infos at https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/8.0.0/Viz/BuildandeditdashboardswithSimplifiedXML
Ciao.

Hi @liviafarris,
I think that you already verified that in a dashboard it's possible to have two rows for title:
<label>STREAM BY AGE CATEGORY</label>
<description> ( Stream: YYYYYYY Aging: YYYYYYY )</description>
Otherwise the only choice is to not use title and and an html box.

Thanks Giuseppe, my goal was to create a special CSS just for h2 tag.
So I wanted to separate my title in 2 rows and leave the css rules applied to it.
Thanks anyway, i will create a special div to apply my CSS, and 2 different htlm rows in addition to it!
Perfect!
Ciao.
