I have a lookup table that contains the names of companies and the cities and states where they have offices. I need to plot this on a map using Google Maps. I have the MaxMind GeoLiteCity-Location.csv table. I thought it would be a simple matter to use the company location as an inputlookup and pass the city and state to Google Maps to do the plotting but I can’t get anything to work. What am I missing?
Never mind. I figured it out. I created a lookup table called citylist.csv and put in caty, state, latitude and longitude columns. Then ran this search and it knew what to do.
| inputlookup citylist.csv | geonormalize city resolve_hostnames=true
