Where do we add a stylesheet (.css) or javascript (.js) file to Splunk Cloud?

We use to host our Splunk infrastructure on premises, and could easily call local assets like .css and .js. Our company migrated to a new SplunkCloud setup.. which means we don't have access to the physical nodes these run on.

How do we references these files? Is there a way to call the data from an S3 bucket? Or upload the data from the GUI? Does Splunk need to add these for us?

Try this

Launcher app -> Settings (gear icon) -> Look for the app you're using the CSS and JS files for, press Edit Properties -> Upload Asset

Thank you so much! I was checking there, however the option was missing to upload. I checked out older Enterprise account and it had it. I believe this is a permission issue, then I will be able to upload local assets to be called in my dashboard.

Thanks again for the quick response.

What kind of permissions would need to be granted to a user to be able to perform this action?

A little testing showed that edit_local_apps may do it.
