Dear all,
I love this app, but because of the refresh not working properly, I cannot use it as a dashboard.
I tried all refresh syntaxes, inside the dashboard, panel, search... it just does not work.
It will update the clustered count a few times, only going up, it will not adjust the heatmap, and only when I press the big chrome refresh button, it refreshes correctly. But this is not the way I intend this to be, should be able to use the refresh functionality built into the dashboard without refreshing the entire page. Am I doing something wrong?
Hi @djorkaef . Have a look at this GitHub issue. The Custom Visualization API doesn't seem to work properly with panel refresh. I wish I had a better answer, but refreshing the entire page is the only workaround at the moment.
Thank you, that is indeed what I was looking for. Hopefully somewhere in the future this will be fixed by the app developers.

we are using the maps plus to visualize the location of alert happened . So in the dashboard user can select the incident id from a drop down and the relevant locations get populated on the map.
The issue that I am facing is that when a new token value is selected from the drop down the new markers are getting rendered on top of previously rendered markers. so here we have two markers the previous one and the current one. It works fine if we refresh the browser window after selecting the new token value from the drop down.
I don't know whether this issue is related with Splunk or maps+.
Any help would be really appreciated.
Splunk version:6.6.3
Maps plus version: 2.0.7
