Fundamentals part 1: can't proceed to the next module

I'm getting started with Splunk and started my training today by taking the course Splunk 7.x Fundamentals Part 1 (eLearning).

After viewing the Module 1 videos and Module 1 Quiz I want to proceed to Module 2. But even if both the video and the quiz is marked with a green check mark, the Module 1 is marked with a grey check mark and I can't proceed to Module 2. At Module 2 it says "Your access to What is Splunk will be available shortly", and when I click on it is says "Enrolment for What is Splunk yet to be created". Now I waited half an hour and nothing has happend.

I've tried all the basic stuff such as update the page, sign in and out, open in other browser. I'm strongly believe this is a bug since I can't find anything about this when I'm searching for it, and also my college who has completed the course couldn't solve the issue either.

By posting it here I hope this will reach someone at Splunk who may fix this.

How do I continue from where I left off last? Don't see Module I left off on (Module 3) from dashboard.

I cant access any of the course materials on Splunk fundamentals part 1. I need help.

Hi @joeltorby,

Splunk Fundamentals Part 1 is free, and Splunk Fundamentals Part 2 is not. If your problem is accessing module 2 of part 1 then it's probably browser related. Go ahead and clear your browser cache and try to get access again.

If that doesn't work try running on a new account, that could help since you're just starting ... better not waste too much of your time on this problem 🙂
