hi! currently in my graph, I have in y-axis the indicator value and in x-axis the time duration for each colors, green yellow and red.
however, despite the varying duration, the sizes of the bars are still the same. what I want to achieve is that I want the sizes of the bars in the chart expand according to the duration.
for example, if green light is turned on for 25 mins and the yelllow light is for 3 mins the green bar should be longer than the yellow bar.
how will I do this?
i used the format option, but I can't seem to set the range for the x-axis.
I am really new to splunk so I really dont know what to do.
thank you so much!
@mdmaala Please provide some screenshots with the search query to show what you have tried so far.
here's the picture
this is what i've done so far, what I want is that the length of the bars depends on the time duration
@mdmaala please upload the image to any image sharing site (ensure you mask out any sensitive info) and then add image here using the link to the image here on Splunk Answers by pressing the Image button <img> or sortcut ket Ctrl+G
.
It maybe just me, but I can't see your image.
Can you share what the tabled data looks like?
the tabled data looks like this @nickhillscpl
Duration | GREEN | Yellow | Red
00:00:10 1 0 0 ------ when the value is 1, the light is turned on, so this means that Green light was on for 10 seconds
