What's the best approach for migrating Splunk on premise to AWS cloud?

Currently we have Splunk search heads , one of them with Enterprise Security, indexer cluster, deployment server,License master which we need to migrate from virtual machines and physical boxes to the AWS cloud.

What would be the best approach so the data in buckets is not lost and all the configurations and apps are intact?

This sounds like...a large project. Did you set up Enterprise Security in your current environment on your own, or did you have Splunk professional services (or another company) consult with you on it? Depending on your level of expertise with complex Splunk software deployments, you might want to get some help with this migration. It is bigger than a Splunk Answers post.

Agreed with @chrisG. While you CAN do this, I would urge you to engage with Professional Services to make sure you have it done correctly. Think of it like risk management.
