What is the difference between the results of this add on and the Splunk Add on for windows which support microsoft dhcp?

There are a few differences

This was implemented specifically for debugging some DHCP issues so a log-level field was introduced in the lookup, and it specifically introduces some context about quarantined requests, as well as extracting the complete field-set from the logs.

There also a change to the regex which converts the non-delimited mac address from the logs into the 'standard' colon delimited pairs. This is broken in the Splunk TA, which only ends up delimiting the first pair.

It also has prebuilt panels to provide something to look at.
Id be very happy to see the Splunk TA include these pretty minor items, because they turned out to be useful in tracking down our issue.
