Is it possible to deploy a single app to SHC via Deployer?

Hi All,

We use Deployer to push apps and configurations to our SHC (3 Nodes). I was wondering if there is a way to push only a newly add app selectively without pushing the entire shcluster/apps folder?

Assuming all the SH members are in sync with the contents of the apps from the deployer, if you just add a new app from the deployer, as part of the deployment processes, the deployer checks the checksum and deploys only the required app to the SHC. You can see the splunkd.log on the deployer to see what app/add-on is being deployed and the status.

Your SHC needs its members to stay in sync. Wouldn't make a lot of sense if one node has an app and the others don't
