Hi guys,
I have a new problem since one week.
When I choose a date in my Time Picker
in a dashboard, let say for example the 11/09/2018
and apply it, the date change by itself to a Custom Period
: from 11/09/2018 06:00:00
to 11/10/2018 06:00:00
.
What I already try and check :
Default System Timezone
I'm actually working in NYC on a server in Paris and my colleague who is working in France don't have this problem.
My coworker here in NYC has the same problem as me.
I guess the problem come from here because there is 6h difference between Paris and NYC.
Any idea ?
Thanks guys 🙂

Update :
I went back to France and upgrade my Splunk environment to 7.2.5 and the problem disappear in NYC.
So I guess it was just a little bug.
Thanks for the help 🙂

Thats related to the time zone associated with the data itself. This is so you can see an event when it happened in your time zone or else you would see either a “delay” in data coming in or have data in the future depending on your location versus the data source location. This is particularly useful if you are indexing day from multiple time zone and need to correlate events among them.
In you profile just select the time zone of the data source and that won’t happen.
Thanks for the answer but I'm not able to test it anymore. We just upgrade our Splunk version and the problem disappear so i guess it was something else...
Hi,
Please update if you got a resolution.
