Splunk Haddop Export Fails

I installed Hadoop Connect and integrated with Hadoop CLI. Everything seems to be good, but when I run the export it fails with the error message below:

Error in 'runexport' command: Failed to run Hadoop CLI job command '-mkdir' with options '-p,hdfs://<hadoopServer>:8020/': mkdir: Permission denied: user=jhondoe, access=WRITE, inode="/":hdfs:supergroup:drwxr-xr-x.

Why this is happening?

Your first issue was as you point out the HDFS location.

I have not seen the second issue before, but browse these past answers, they all pointing into the Free license as being the issue when you see the 402 error:

Hi,

It is because user jhondoe does not have write access in Hadoop server path to create new directory.

@harsmarvania57 Thanks for your comment.
I changed the HDFS Base Path, and yet i get another error which is:

Error in 'runexport' command: [HTTP 402] Current license does not allow the requested action

why is that?

I am not aware of any license requirement for Hadoop Connect, are you running Splunk Instance with Enterprise License ?
