First time I have tried to push a configuration bundle from deployer to search heads by using the below command
splunk apply shcluster-bundle -target https://:8089
I am facing the below issue after running that above command
Error while deploying apps to first member: Error while fetching apps baseline on target=https://:8089: Network-layer error: Connect Timeout
Please can anyone help me to fix this issue?
Thanks&Regards,
Manikanth
I have the same issue. Any clue?
Splunkd.log:
WARN AppsDeployHandler - Error while deploying apps to first member, aborting apps deployment to all members: Error while fetching apps baseline on target=https://shmemberhostname:8089: Network-layer error: Conn
ect Timeout
Hi @manikanthkoti,
I am not sure whether it is a typo or you used wrong command but to push bundle from Deployer to Search Head, command will be like
splunk apply shcluster-bundle -target https://<ANY_SH_MEMBER>:8089
If you used above command and still facing connection timeout in that case you need to check connectivity between Deployer and Search Heads, Is port 8089 open between Deployer and Search Heads ?
Hi @harsmarvania ,Thanks for your response I used the above command what you mentioned and port 8089 is opened between Deployer and search heads but still I am facing that above issue .can you please help me
