Getting Data In

After editing monitoring console in a distributed system, why does the search head(SH) server shows both as an indexer and SH?

I have one indexer + one SH, on the Monitor console.
After configuring monitoring console to a distributed system and applying changes, the SH server shows as both indexer and SH.

Hi, you should be able to edit server roles in "Monitoring Console" by going to Settings > General Setup > Edit Server Roles (under Action drop-down).

I also configured SH to forward its internal index to indexer as well.
