Why is the panel in the dashboard showing as blank but on enabling search, it is running perfectly?

My panel in a dashboard is showing nothing, completely blank, no error nothing. However, when I enable search in the panel and runs it in the search app, the query is showing proper result.
Any idea what is happening, leads would be helpful.
TIA.

@architkhanna ,

If you are running a base search or post processing searches, try mentioning the required fields by using fields field1,field2,etc

For eg: index=myindex source=mysource .... | fields a,b,c,

One of the reasons is that some of the field extractions might not be done in smart mode which is the default search mode .

Hey @architkhanna,

Can you check the dashboard permission?
