Why am I receiving this DB Connect error: "sslmode and sslfactory are in conflict" when attempting to connect to a Postgres server with SSL?

We are running a Postgres server on AWS RDS with SSL Required. For some reason though when saving the connection and trying to us it we are getting the following error.

[Amazon](500154) The values of the connection properties sslmode and sslfactory are in conflict;'

Has anyone experienced this before? I cannot find any prior instances of this.

I actually figured this out. You manually must edit the JDBC string and remove sslmode=require. Keep ssl=true. The connection then works.
