Is bold markdown supported on the details tab of Splunkbase add-on pages?

The detail tab on our add-on page (Administrator tools > Manage App > Details) says it supports Markdown. However, it looks like it only supports italics and not bold. Text marked like this is italic, but text marked like this is not bolded. If I look at the page source, the HTML looks right (for the bold text, it's tagged ), but is not rendered correctly on Splunkbase. Am I missing something, or did I find an issue with your style sheet or something else? Here's our page: https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/3783/#/details (Workday Add-On for Splunk)

As far as I know, the details pages on Splunkbase uses this flavor of markdown: https://daringfireball.net/projects/markdown/syntax#em, so bold should work. I will file a bug with the Splunkbase team.

Apparently, THIS page supports Markdown. I marked the italic text with single asterisks, and the bold text with double asterisks. In the app page Details tab, the italic markdown works but the bold does not.

The headings are rendered in bold text, but not the inline items.
