Why am I receiving this error on the Netezza driver on Splunk DBConnect?

Could I get some help on resolving this error?

Running on an HF 6.6.3
DB Connection version: 3.1.3

I've installed the Netezza driver in
`/opt/splunk/etc/apps/splunk_app_db_connect/drivers/nzjdbc.jar `
With the following permissions:
` -rw-r--r--. 1 splunk splunk 349701 May 16 14:57 nzjdbc.jar `

I've added
`[netezza]
displayName = Netezza
serviceClass = com.splunk.dbx2.PostgresJDBC
jdbcDriverClass = org.netezza.Driver
jdbcUrlFormat = jdbc:netezza://host:port/database
port = 5480`

in `/opt/splunk/etc/apps/splunk_app_db_connect/local/db_connection_types.conf`

When I try to create a Connection I get There was an error processing your request. It has been logged (ID 91b50fb17b90e4ff).

with this in the log file

`q2018-05-16 15:32:47.286 -0500  [dw-60 - POST /api/connections/status] ERROR io.dropwizard.jersey.errors.LoggingExceptionMapper - Error handling a request: 91b50fb17b90e4ff

I figured it out!!!
[netezza]
displayName = Netezza
serviceClass = com.splunk.dbx2.postgres.PostgresJDBC
jdbcDriverClass = org.netezza.Driver
jdbcUrlFormat = jdbc:netezza://host:port/database
port = 5480
testQuery = SELECT 1 AS test

It required the testQuery line at the bottom. Go figure.

test,Can you help with this because I have the same problem for MySQL.

  1. I've added mysql connector:
    mysql-connector-java-8.0.19.jar
    /splunk/etc/apps/splunk_app_db_connect/drivers
  2. On the webinterface, I've added identity to login to mysql. test_user:test_password .. save. -> test_identity
  3. On the webinterface, I've added the connection, connection name: test identity: test_identity connection type: mysql timezone: UTC

JDBC host: localhost
port: 3306
Default database: test_database
So the JDBC URl preview is: jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/test_database

SAVE. And I have exactly the same problem like you just for the MySQL add.

I've tried to make manual JDBC Url buit also fails:
jdbc:mysql://test_user:test_password@tcp(127.0.0.1:3306)/test_database

There is no test query what you mention or anything.

Can you try changing serviceclass to :

serviceClass = com.splunk.dbx2.postgres.PostgresJDBC
