Deployment Architecture

How could I know if I deploy the apps correctly?

I would like to know how I can verify that my add-on/app was successfully deployed in the client. I use deployment server to send add-on/app on the forwarders.
Is there a way I can check if it is installed properly?

The forwarder management pages in your Deployment Server's Web Interface allow you to check if add-ons / apps were deployed successfully.

Apart from that you can also check the splunkd.log for the respective client, to see if it successfully downloaded and installed the app.

Can you search for the data your app forwards to your indexers? If so, it's probably installed correctly.
