Will there a "Splunk Fundamentals 1" for Splunk 7.x?

Hi everybody,

I've got my Splunk user certification last year in October, for the 6.x version. Now that the 7.x version is out, I was wondering if there will be a new fundamentals course 1 for the 7.x version, which covers the new features. I do understand that some (maybe most?) of the new features are more for the experienced Splunk user but they also might be interesting. At least they're it for me!
A free fundamentals course obviously can't go really deep into them, I am sure we can agree about that. But it would be nice to get an overview, or some sort of an appetizer 🙂
I've just had a look in the course catalogue and there's the course for 6.x (which I might want to retake some time), but none for the 7.x. Is this planned?

edit: I know that the basics for the 6.x version are mostly the same as in the 7.x version. And that's what the course covers, but I was just wondering about some form of an appetizer.

It's interesting that currently only the Splunk 6.X Fundamentals Part 1 (eLearning) version is listed in the course catalog.

@ReneRiech, with Splunk's latest releases usually there is also an Overview App created for the same to outline the new features you should check out Splunk Enterprise 7.0 Overview App from Splunkbase. From Dashboards perspective, new features are added to the Splunk Dashboard Examples App where each example also mentions supported version/s .
