Why am I getting an 404 Error on Home Monitor Setup?

I have installed the most recent version of Home Monitor (4.5.1) and when I launch the app and being the initial setup I get a 404 error.
I googled and found a fix to the issue, here https://answers.splunk.com/answers/440675/404-when-setting-up-home-monitor-app.html but even following these instructions it does not seem to fix it.
It looks like this was an old issue and it appears to have reared its head again?
Any ideas on how to get this sorted?

Cheers.

I documented a fix for that on the wiki for the Home Monitor App on Github: wiki help
Let me know if that works, otherwise I'll dig around and see how I can help you out.

Forgot to mention I have also installed on linux, debian. I checked the permissions and they were installed as root. I changed the permissions to splunk:splunk like all the other apps.
