Hello

I currently have a bucket that is stuck in "fixup tasks - in progress" tab for a while. Is there any way to delete this bucket server side? I tried to look up the bucket id and nothing comes up.

same issue here 5 years later in 2023 on version 9.0.0 on a Windows platform, no clue what causes these random issues, we always put Splunk in maintenance mode when patching or doing any sort of maintenance, we do have an Index Cluster and it's a PIA

Hello santiagn,

I believe this is very late to solve your issue if you are still experiencing it. However, I experienced this issue recently and got it to work again.

I simply restarted the CM and the fixup tasks resumed. I was removing an indexer from a cluster and it took over 13 hours. Hopefully someone else can benefit from seeing this. The Bucket status is held in the CM memory. When it restarts it will rebuild the list of the buckets and pick up where it left off.

Best,
