How do you drilldown to a new chart by clicking a value in the legend?

Is it possible to click on a value in the legend and pass that returned information into a new chart? I only seem to be able to get it to pass to a new window.

Cheers

Legend

Instead of creating a <link> to a new dashboard, you should just <set> a token on chart <drilldown>. Then use the token in your subsequent drilldown chart. You can also use depends attribute with the chart to keep it hidden until the token is set (or in other words, legend is clicked)

        <drilldown>
          <set token="tokLegend">$click.name2$</set>
        </drilldown>

Please try out following run anywhere dashboard:

<dashboard>
  <label>Drilldown from legend</label>
  <row>
    <panel>
      <title>Chart 1 - Top Splunk Errors by Component - Click on Legend to drilldown</title>
